April 28Apr 28 Robert back on pace for a 1.1 fWAR season. 2nd year in a row his xwOBA is 20 points higher than his actual wOBA. Something just isn't adding up for him anymore.

April 29Apr 29 The Mets are similar to Sox. Both solid at 2b, SS, 3b (Sox are younger). Soto and Murakami. Mets play Vientos, Baty, Tyrone Taylor, Mauricio, Melendez, Benge and Robert and now Slater. Sox play Peters, Hill, Benintendi, Antonacci, Acuna, Pereira and now Kelenic.Mets better at catcher (also older)Overall, I'll take Sox position player group.
May 3May 3 Dustin Harris now an every day starter for the Astros -- he had two hits and a steal last night against Boston. He's 7-for-18 (.389) with four RBI and an .868 OPS in his last five games. For some reason, the Sox gave Kelenic more of a runway than Harris, even though both were highly thought of prospects a few years ago. Wonder why they liked Kelenic more than Harris: https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/baseball/news/astros-dustin-harris-two-hits-steal-vs-boston/

Peters is more of a direct comparison to Harris than Kelenic. They see Peters as the better fielder. Harris was gone by the time the called up Kelenic, and Kelenic looked to be the top of the AAAA heap for replacement level OFs, out of what's left at Charlotte. I don't know when Pereira is due back, but if Kelenic's hitting .025 after 10-15 games, I don't think it's even a coin flip between Kelenic and Acuña.

May 5May 5 He’s hit .233/.333/.302/.635 OPS in 52 plate appearances on the season. He’s a AAAA player, perhaps fourth outfielder at best. Surprised there was even three posts made about the guy. Edited May 5May 5 by WhiteSox2023
