He got pretty banged up back there behind the plate on Thursday so maybe that's why they're giving him an extra day of rest.

The little league style managing is so embarrassing for a professional organization. The always changing lineup Players playing different positions every other game. Keep Montgomery at SS. Keep Acuna

Absolute terrible decision. We don’t need one run. We need base runners. You had Mune coming up next with 2 on. Holy hell, that’s simple baseball.

Just freaking insane

no shortage of dumb base running by the player or 3rd base coach

Once you drink enough, you’ll be at happy drinking stage. I’m working myself there right now.

I swear this organization top to bottom commits fireable offenses everyday.

Sox punching themselves in the balls, as usual.

This was predictable. Is anyone surprised at all? 🤣

Absolutely not. Robert wasn’t the issue. It’s this terrible organization.

If he has a fairly healthy year with the Mets, Sox training staff heads should roll.

2 things I have yet to understand in sports is the balk and NFL QB ratings

I think they already fired them all lmao

I think training staff has not much effect on player health (because they are all qualified and the biggest variable is the player himself)

Apparently he bobbled the ball. I get it, but I think it's dumb and nitpicking. Milwaukee doesn't need any help...also Sox just giving away free bases at this point. God at least try.

Wow. Not even trying to stop the running game. Just give em every base

I never understood how calling a time out let's you forward the ball half the court in the NBA.

There is just so much wrong with this team. The players have little chance of performing to their potential, as limited as it may be.

they've always been weak in fundamentals. It's not something you just work on in ST. It has to be in A ball.

You are right. I think what happened (and I am not defending the decision to send) is that the LF bobbled the ball and the 3B coach thought the ball would roll further away than it did. Still with Mune coming up, you just don't send Colson.

Everything going wrong so far this year and the Brewers are exposing the deficiencies. Not sure why Reese McGuire. I hope they win their division. Once Churio comes back, they are going to be even better.

In any case, the Mets slow played Robert all ST and babied him. Our coaching staff used to have him play regular season games swinging with one arm while telling him to slow jog the bases.
