  • We knew they would be bad but at least moving forward in the right direction. This is a regression.

Jerry and Getz should be embarrassed by this shitshow. I’m sure they aren’t because they don’t care about Sox fans, but these two clowns deserve another 100+ loss season.

And Benintendi batting 3rd AND back in the OF today.. can we at least put these guys in the best position to succeed??

This is probably close to your best defensive lineup you can throw out there. Maybe Hill/Hays in LF, Vargas at 1B, Mune to DH. But the propeller-heads in the stats department like their platoon match-ups. I just hope the Marlins hit the ball closer to Benintendi today.

So much for them hiding his flaws at DH and taking advantage of his bat.

Let's hope Shane Smith isn't pitching to contact today.

We really need Teel & Baldwin back.

On top of what’s been mentioned, I’m not crazy about three LHH at 2-3-4. Made it very easy bullpen maneuvering for Miami last night.

And a new rotation.

That will happen soon enough I believe.

I believe the thought is that Benintendi has neutral platoon splits, AND they could just slot Sosa or Hays as a pinch-hitter if they don't like the lefty-lefty matchup.

Do they even win one against a pissed off Jays' team?

Maybe only if the weatherman wipes out two games and they get extremely lucky with Toronto resting most of their regulars.

Sosa's trade value is decreasing by the day....whatever it was in the first place.

Five day sample sizes legit don’t matter and no one is making trades off of them

Baffling how much they want to play Beni.

I’m thinking he didn’t have much trade value to begin with.

Montgomery at 3B doesn’t bother me. Benintendi in LF is what seems dumb here as it’s a rough defensive OF with him anywhere and Peters in CF. You could play the same guys in different and have a better overall defense IMO.

Yet the Sox just jettisoned their Rule 5 pick on a 5 day sample size.

Well we are dumb and the exception to the rule

Can't think of another legit mlb franchise that wouldn't simply cut Benintendi and put Sosa or pretty much anyone else in LF.

Even if they had to eat all but $5-10 million of the remaining $$$.

Even the Brewers can easily afford deals for Chourio and never before played minor league prospects in that financial range.

Jays returned theirs today as well. I just think it became difficult to hide Paez once Vasil went down.

Won’t matter vs Alcantra!

And less roster spots available overall because of the Teel and Baldwin injuries essentially taking up 2 roster spots each.

Starting to feel like the worst case scenario is incoming with the SP. Smith looks like the guy that tired down the stretch last year, and it's April 1st.
