Welcome to SoxTalk!

Pereira the surprise of early season some fortunate babip luck though

Edited by caulfield12

game thread also a product of the blown early lead last game terrible managing and last place in mlb standing?

Such a terrible approach

Springs must have a strange release/angle as the hitters seem to be pretty frequently having trouble pulling the trigger on grooved heaters of around 91mph.

Terrible. Quero needed to get the runner over and didn't. Then the no contact

murray is traaaaaash

he's not a stsrting mlb outfielder

he's a utility inf

just think of him as Nick Maton with less power

Schultz is going to be a fucking monster.

You can see his confidence building in real time

Started the game late, promising start (as was yesterday). Hill has some actual pop to go with his speed and range. Contact tool is basically non-existent but he's not far off from being a useful every day player. Schultz's stuff looks good but he's throwing a lot of uncompetitive pitches and hung that sweeper to Ibañez.

Acuna going to drop one of those someday showboating like that

49 pitches through 3 isn't so bad

Hill is not a prospect

I really hope when Acuña drops a fly ball for being a hot dog his ass is benched

kimbrel vs. cubs won't go well lol

you don't say

Hill is just a nice MLB bench player. Easy as a Sox fan to forget the distinction between "not a good hitter" and "can't hit" but he's in the former category rather than the latter. He can hit okay and as we've seen, he does everything else decently enough.

Acuna hit it out of the infield, progress!!

not gonna happen, Getz isn't gonna allow Will to do anything that could affect his confidence until at least after the ASB, they're gonna give him every opportunity possible to prove Getz isnt actually horrible at his job

le's not to like he is a solution to anything because he homered in a bandbox facility
