Lots of games today. Sandlin for AAA. AA with a double header and ACL game.

Oppor is seriously flirting with the yips this season. They may need to shut him down at some point. I wonder what his velocity and such are looking like.

Sigh. Oppor. Hasn't given up a hit but has walked 7.

The minors really feel bereft of starting pitching at this point. Hope they grab a high end prep arm in July.

For some reason I assumed he was destined for 3B in the majors. Would obviously be great if he could play adequately at 2B.

I suppose with Roch coming that way be likely. I haven't watched much baseball this year yet, but Colson is 2nd in Statcast's Fielding Run Value for shortstops this year. Still early of course, but the defensive metrics rank him pretty highly in his career so far. I'm not sure they move him off SS if he is playing great defense.

I don’t disagree, but to me Roch loses a ton of value if he’s not playing SS.

True. You'd think Colson could become a top defensive 3B if he's this good at SS.

In my gut, I see Bonemer at 1B after a Viciedo-esque trial at 3B.

"Recall" means bringing back. He's never been up, so it wouldn't be a "recall".
