5/14/2026 - Royals @ Sox - 6:40 pm CDT - going for the sweep

Super! One over .500. Haven't been able to watch the games live lately due to life, but I'm really pleased to see them doing well. How about Grichuk? Looks like Vargas has been playing a good third base as well, happily. Go Sox!

WOW! who da thunk it?

I live down in ATL and went to the Cubs Braves finale tonight. They took over Truist…it was crazy. I hate that they’re leaving here on a high note. Had the Braves swept them, they may have been more vulnerable this weekend.

Sidenote…having grown up in Chicagoland, I always despised the Cubs. I haven’t lived up there since 1994, so a lot of that Cub hate has been diminished. Until tonight, that is. Their fans are as awful as I remember from back in the day. I did enjoy the sCrUB fan behind me who, to describe a Braves player hitting .146, said the guy is “hitting one and a half”. Who says that?

Red Sox and Yankee fans are insufferable. Most Cub fans, not all, have a distorted perception of themselves. That is the only thing that keeps them out of the Red Sox-Yankee fan category.

You guys deserve this

I do too but I specifically mean the people who have been message board addicted for a decade. This is well earned
