1 hour ago1 hr Another well played game even with a couple of key players sitting. We saved the top guys in the bullpen too. Chase and Hill going up the middle to drive in key runs was so nice to see. Getting that hit off a tough righty has to be big for him.
21 minutes ago21 min I live down in ATL and went to the Cubs Braves finale tonight. They took over Truist…it was crazy. I hate that they’re leaving here on a high note. Had the Braves swept them, they may have been more vulnerable this weekend. Sidenote…having grown up in Chicagoland, I always despised the Cubs. I haven’t lived up there since 1994, so a lot of that Cub hate has been diminished. Until tonight, that is. Their fans are as awful as I remember from back in the day. I did enjoy the sCrUB fan behind me who, to describe a Braves player hitting .146, said the guy is “hitting one and a half”. Who says that?
