I just realized how awful Quero has been against lefties. I was going to say he would be a slam dunk to play against a lefty but jesus, he's 1/27 (with 4 BB) on the year lol

I went to my 1st game last night with my son in about 3 years. It was cold but I really enjoyed watching this team play.

They are trying to bring my fandom back that Jerry stole.

I hope this is Quero's last game before Teel takes his place. Maybe a golden sombrero as a going away present.

Venable did this a week ago when the Sox had a chance to be .500 and move into 1st place and had a 5 game win streak on the line. I wasn't pleased but it was a stay the course move but it's also ignored a current hot streak , killed momentum and resulted in a 3 game losing skid. If the same thing happens losing the next series against the Cubs or being swept would kill a lot of the excitement going on just like last week but luckily they snapped out of it quickly.

Might not like it now but it wont look so bad once Teel is back and Montgomery up. Quero is long past righting the ship . He will be sent down.Acuna may be gone.Benintendi has very little rope left.

I hate it and it sucks but I understand it. Playing the long game because its a long season and bench guys have been contributing.

OK I understand rest, but it will cost a game.
