PDA cycle all hits in reverse order

hr triple double single

Now hitting the below line on the season. Crazy how someone can start out the season so horribly and still improve their stats this much. Apparently he has terrible sportsmanship but he can still hit MLB pitching.

And then gets picked off right after his single.

Another HR for PCA tonight. Dude is on a massive heater. Sox lady’s curse is over apparently.

Apparently tore it on a throw to the plate from RF, wild

PCA is 3 for 3 with 2 walks and an RBI today.

.283 / .869

PCA is playing out of his mind. Today, he went 2 for 4 with a HR, 2 RBI, and a walk. Current line:

.286

.363

.521

.884

Along with 16 HR, 40 RBI, and 18 SB.

The doubters were just Cubs haters. Acquired from the Mets for the rotting corpse of Javy Baez. What a ridiculous trade and steal of an extension they snagged one of the best young CF’ers in baseball on.

Weird obsession...at least Tatis wasn't on the biggest rival of the Sox.

Says the guy from Wuhan, the origin of Covid. Your country is the biggest rival.

My country???...nobody except Stephen Marbury or Eileen Gu can have a double passport.

All expats are just temporary residents on a yearly basis.

PCA=Covid to any Sox fan

It's like being friends with Skeletor.

Same draft year as Colson, much different outcome. Strengthens the Sox' Montgomery monopoly though.

Mariners have a 71 wRC+ over the last two weeks. Last good series they played really was ours. Julio is quietly having a mediocre year for his talent, on pace for about 3 fWAR with a 111 wRC+ so far.

It was always going to be tough for them imo as you just aren't going to get 9 WAR from the catcher position more than once every hundred years. Even Cal coming back to just a star around 5 WAR would set them back, and so far he's been replacement level basically.

Emerson and Young have been solid, especially given how young they are, but asking a 20 year old and a 22 year old to be stars is asking a lot. So far they've basically combined to be slightly below avg regulars. Promising for the future, but they are trying to win now. I imagine they make a pretty big deal at the deadline if they are still around .500. They need a bat, especially with Randy's injury issues.

Another team that's been quietly struggling of late is the Rays, 9-17 over the last month since their hot start.

They're always active in some capacity, so I wonder how aggressive they'll be with a weaker AL than expected.

Rough injury luck for them this year

And another one, jeez

Finally. Even Hahn would unironically improve that franchise.

Who was it that we had at one point heard rumors of potentially trading the cubs for PCA? For the record, I don’t like the dude but I sure as s%*# bet if he had come up on this team, my tune would be different… Ala AJ.
