Repeat after me: I won't get mad at Acuna for the way he catches it until he actually drops one

Whew..did not like how Acuña caught that

Let's fucking go!

Funky delivery and he's really tall, so he probably has good extension to make the fastball seem faster than it is.

Yeah it's definitely the size and the angles he creates, but I'd be lying if I said I knew exactly why it worked so well for him and not most of the 100s of other big lefties with funny deliveries and sketchy velocity

I would get on the DFA him train if he did.

Ok 3 run inning would make us happy and the dude who predicted the 7-4 final score. @PaleAleSox

There’s plenty enough awful in Acuna’s game to be mad at instead.

Safe to say Colson is not seeing Milner well.

Colson swinging wild

Colson finally discovering what lefty-lefty advantage looks like lol

Colson had no clue against this guy. It happens

I don’t think Colson saw one strike

Wasn't it Bryce Harper who spent a whole PA against Milner not even bothering to swing the bat?

Well, I think he saw strikes. They just didn't throw any to him

Cubs have a pretty damn nice bullpen, certainly tough on lefties.

Did not like pinch running for Grichuk. Sox are going to wish they had his bat later.

Wish Meidroth could run well enough to beat those out

Missed a hanger

Regardless of how this one turns out, pretty solid game by the Sox. Cubs made it rain bloopers in the first and that's the only reason they're in a tie game.

We've been getting blooped to death all series TBH. I didn't even think Burke pitched poorly in game 1, he just got very unlucky on some balls in play.

Edgar has to hit a homer eventually, right?

Center cut and missed

Quero would struggle to hit in the NCAA right now.
