Absolutely love that the guy screws up one opportunity and Mr Positivity wants to find who trained him and call him out

With two strikes as I said in the game thread just now if the dugout kept the bunt on that's a mistake. That said, I think he just bunted on his own. A case of just trying to do too much. He's a contact hitter just put it in play.

Isnt it a tad premature to gauge bunting skill after one attempt. Its not as if a good bunter lays down a good bunt every time

There's a quote earlier in this thread from Venable saying he kept the bunt on for 2 strikes. It was a bad decision when you have a guy whose whole offense is swinging bunts and he would get to have unlimited foul balls to get one in play

Yea I saw that quote in the other thread and agree, his game is contact, I'd rather just him him swing away with 2 strikes. People think bunting is a given but you practice it so little in games even if you're a "good bunter" s%*# can go wrong.

Was a bad loss with a bunch of little stuff going against us but we move on.

Lyle Mouton is to blame, as always

Are we pushing Davis back a day? Sandlin starting tonight?

No, no, he gets the credit for the good. Rick Hahn gets the blame.

Go to the Japanese Sox threads and see what they are saying and how they're reacting...

This is the most wack thread currently active.

If Ron makes another post about that awful nickname for Antonacci, he will have succeeded.

Ron will suggest Getz should get AL Executive of the Year after this Sandlin start…and then more apology threads.
