I got the Sox winning 4 of these 12 games but that's optimistic, the pitching is just god awful

I mean Hudson was the right move, he just did not produce. I don't think using Dominguez was the wrong choice there, I would rather have Taylor for the top of the order the next inning. Now not taking out Kay earlier was not good

Our underlying pitching metrics are all bottom 1/3rd and our era to this point was basically league average. s%*# always converges eventually in a season.

I hate bringing in a closer even a struggling one in a non closing role even worse as you said, not a clean inning. It's just asking a lot of a changed routine.

Yeah Kay and Fedde have terrible FIPs yet ERAs under 5. I don't think our starting pitching is sustainable, especially against better hitting teams like we'll be playing the next 2 weeks.
