August 8Aug 8 There was an old-time softball legend, Eddie "The King" Feigner. The King and his Court was Eddie pitching, a catcher, short stop, and first baseman. Over a career spanning more than six decades, Eddie pitched in over 14,000 to 15,000 games, recording more than 140,000 strikeouts and over 900 no-hitters. Roch "The King" Cholowsky

August 9Aug 9 See below for clips of Roch fielding in A+ so far. He is just automatic in the field. Can't wait to see him at SS next year.
August 9Aug 9 No dang college kid is gonna move Monty off shortstop!!!!!!!! Edited August 9Aug 9 by Chick Mercedes
August 9Aug 9 Caleb Bonemer is only getting better in AA. I don’t know if the future isn’t Bonemer and Cholowski on the left side. It sounds pretty good in theory. Edited August 9Aug 9 by Chick Mercedes
August 9Aug 9 off day for Rochedit: double header today, Roch played game 12 for 4, BB, SB (3), E6 (2).278/.381/.556 (.937)Assuming he ends the season strong, there's no way he doesn't start 2027 in AA Edited August 9Aug 9 by joejoesox

August 16Aug 16 Never understood people talking about struggling new players as having a “slump” before they first show a track record of success against the “slump”. Edited August 16Aug 16 by Chick Mercedes
August 16Aug 16 idc what Roch does for the rest of this year, he took a 2 month break from live games and also gained a little bit of weight, I don't think this is the best version of Roch right now
Tuesday at 10:10 PM4 days 2nd game in a row Roch is not in the Dash Lineup. Hmm, they haven't placed him on the IL as far as I know (not listed in the recent team transactions)

I haven't heard of any injuries, but he is close to shutting down for the season.

Wednesday at 05:29 PM3 days Author For anyone already comparing Lackey to Roch, he isn’t lighting the world on fire and is likely gassed too. He’s hitting .205 in 44 at bats with a ~30% K clip, no homers, and is doing so in single A.Way too early for all of this horseshit. If Cholowsky is gassed, they’ll rest him - as they should. Calm the f*** down panicans.
Thursday at 12:07 PM2 days Roch Update:James Fox mentioned on X that now he heard Roch was injured but nothing serious and should return to the lineup. Edited Thursday at 12:08 PM2 days by Falstaff

Digging throws out of the dirt was just easier with a glove using 1 hand than having to use 2 hands and getting fingers crunched every so often. Also with the development of bat tech I was still able to play until I was 50 years old and still hit the ball hard and far.

Used to play against a whole team with only 4 other players. Saw him at Sealmasters field in Aurorawhen I was a kid.
