What's this doing in here ? Has nothing to do with the thread topic. It's Red Sox news if anything . They dumped him after us.

We are starting old man Urquidy and sophomore slump Smith soon. It shows that the Sox pretty much suck at developing starting pitching talent.

Uh oh.

White Sox have given two pitchers away for nothing in Tobias Meyers and Shane Drohan that have now made significant contributions to Milwaukee playoff teams.

Seems like bench coach Walter McKinven needs to keep recruiting from that staff/front office...

And Dylan Cease is going to finish 1st or 2nd for AL Cy Young.

You mean they acquired 2/5 starting pitchers from Boston via trade...?

In English ! All I know is that it had nothing to do with the thread title of picking the next starting pitcher. You just came in here to stir the pot as if Drohan is the next great pitcher the Sox dumped. If you think that go start a thread about it. He's having a little bit of success in his 1st taste of MLB action 2 years after he was roster churn casualty. He has a whole .6 bWar. Non news dude . Maybe he'll help the Brewers fight off the Cubs.

You mad because it"definitely" wasn't Thorpe? Always so sure and always so wrong. I guess you were taught if you act like you know what you are talking about people will believe you.

Nope. I just assume that Thorpe “Ron-Willie” need two more rehab starts before he is ready. Any other questions, CaliDamus? 🤣

Very exciting to elicit a response from you when you aren’t spending your time stalking @southsider2k5. Congratulations on your personal development.

Urquidy he hasn't pitched since the 9th and only 2 innings then. Schultz schedule to pitch for Charlotte on Friday, Sandlin Saturday and Cannon Sunday. Strange no Urquidy for a while. Could be working with him preparing him to come up.

I wondered if he had an injury when seeing these things.

Thorpe once his rehab assignment ends on the 17th should be announced.

That’s nice to call out - I forgot Thorpe’s IL timeline is nearing its end. Interesting times folks.

Even if it gets the heart rate up.

Sounds like the Soxtalk Jerry Springer Episode.

If Thorpe or Smith isn't 100% then Jose Urquidy

Smith is so bad. Bringing him up is not the correct move

Nothing that was announced. Probably just getting special attention for his callup. Fathom says he's pitching today after Newcombe. And Shane Smith against the Cubs on Wednesday.

Not only that but more importantly keeping the pitchers they do have healthy.

LOL such a blowhard .Maybe you need to look up definitely in the dictionary .

If you get the itch to spout your negative viewpoints because you can't enjoy the season or being a soxfan feel free to open your own threads with the titles of your multiple complaints so you can converse with your people. I think you are actively seeking out my attention , you poor lonely man.

Nah, I'mma Do My Own Thing

If Urquidy and Shane Sith are true that's wrong and it's ok to be wrong. I wouldn't have said anything but when you put stuff like "definitely" that's like hey I'm so smart I know for sure.

Words, words, words, and more hot air. You apparently can’t enjoy the season without chasing around anyone with a viewpoint that bothers you.

What was wrong with what I previously posted? Do you think the Sox planned on having to start Urquidy or this version of Shane Smith at this point in the season? No, but they might because their other young starters have failed to be effective.

Also, I have two sons around all the time, although one just turned 18 and started college. The other is 16 and still in high school. I also have a good career in IT and security, so I am neither poor nor lonely. And you?

That sounds quite familiar.

Tatis and Boston Smith, to name two others...

And what did Tobias Meyers do for the Brewers in previous seasons as an emergency stop gap?

Ah the Urquidy news was out there already on CBS but didn't know how reliable it was so I thought that you saw something about Shane Smith.

There are all kinds of thread to put your hate in why are you chasing me around ? You've got volatile opinions , you're a meatball. Start a hot takes thread if you feel so strongly. I promise I won't go near it little man.

First of all, you started a thread in a public forum on the Internet. Anyone can respond. Don’t be a crybaby because you see responses that you don’t like. If you want butterflies and rainbows, I don’t think you are at the right place. Calling a spade a spade is a thing. It’s called being realistic. Basically, stop being a whiny b!tch.

Bwahahahaaa, but I’m the meatball? Priceless. Look in the mirror. You stay out of game threads and you only appear if the Sox win. When the Sox lose, you go AWOL. You are the very definition of a meatball, homer, frontrunner, et al. Meanwhile, I have shared personal details about my life, while you call me poor and lonely. Yet you share nothing about your life in response.

And now you call me a little man but I am 6’3”, 250. My son starting college and football is even bigger. I could likely pound you into the ground like a railroad spike, but conveniently you’re just an Internet tough guy hiding behind your anonymity and your hate on this site isn’t worth anyone’s time. Your fake tough guy act is a joke and everyone here sees it and knows it. Get a new gimmick, Ron Willie in Cali.
