Those free passes are a killer.

Ten pitches too.

The lack of adjustments by Will along with no sense of urgency is exasperating. Not moving Mune out of the second spot is managerial malpractice. Also don’t like to hit the strikeout prone Montgomer

  • Urquidy being used in mop up duty now...lol. Honestly Urquidy is probably better than Castillo at this point.

not an acceptable excuse since they all play 162 but it also reveals a poor farm system, he was once in charge of that

My favorite thing about watching Castillo pitch is knowing Jerry’s money is being completely wasted on him 😂

Oh yay, makes next year’s team worse also. The deadline will be talked about forever if they don’t make the postseason.

Guards and Jays 1-1 in the bottom of the 4th.

Same guy who can’t even strike out AAA hitters?

Castillo’s slider is a terrible pitch. No idea why they called it on 3-2.

Come on. Let's pick up Luis.

Or how they didn't even need Adell because of Braden.

Pittsburgh was the other main team in on him.

If he gets destroyed today, make him a reliever for rest of year and hope he retires in offseason

Goddamnit Colson.

Stop letting guys swing 3-0 especially against a good pitcher. We need to work up their count

Don't need a guy to strike out the world. He clearly has been working on his control more in AAA

Pathetic, that was barely even a strike

Soriano 83 pitches Bibee 79

bullpens will decide it

Nice hit but I expected more power from BMont, I know he doesn’t elevate but he hit them out in the Minors. Junior Caminero of the Rays has one of the flattest swings of anyone and almost 80 homers the last 2 years , I’m thinking it’s swing speed.

Colson should no longer have the greenlight starting a couple weeks ago when had a 3-0 count and then swung at 3 balls.

Careful, his mom started arguing with people on Twitter (fwiw, his family is amazing)

It'll come. He needs to put on a bit more muscle in the offseason as well.

It’s fine if he does, but only if it’s a meatball. That was a pitcher’s pitch on 3-0

Another guy swinging at balls in a hitters count

He won’t retire when he’s owed 20+ million.

His bat speed is bad, launch angle terrible and barrel rate is bad. I think if he gets to 15 a year, that’s a win

Castillo is the 2nd coming of James Shields.

Ya I mean he has to look for something up if hes going to swing 3-0. Anything else he has to let go.

Absolutely
