I am sick and #### tired of this ####! You know how much money this team made off the All Star break? You know how the fans got their hopes up last year on a winning team? And you know how bad we wanted to bring in another player or two FROM FREE AGENCY JERRY and how much you CRUSHED us when these players just flew by? There are about 5 of you calling the shots up there at the cell and there are millions of us SOX FANS who have supported you and have had their hearts broken! What makes you so great Reinsdorf that you can selfishly keep a team when you don't have the money to make them win? I mean you want to CUT payroll when the only way that the White Sox could win next year is if we added about 10-15 mil just to field a team! You know how much you spend compared to other teams? MUCH LESS THAN THE AVERAGE! Even the Marlins payroll was above 60 M!!!! I don't know why you are so cheap...screw ballpark renovations, we all know that you have 68 Million stashed away somewhere from US Cellular. You want to know what I have wrong with you? Here's it in a nutshell:

-You stole the name of our park and got money for it which you refuse to spend on players, who cares about what the park looks like when we'd be winning ballgames?

 

-You insist that if the fans come, you'd spend...Well Reinsdorf, fans won't come if the team doesn't win!

 

-You strangle your GM money wise and let go every player that did well for us last season!!! GORDON WAS CLUTCH! AND COLON COULD'VE BEEN KEPT! QUIT DEFERRING MONEY!!!!!

 

-You won't bring in anyone who is good and won't come for less than they are worth. HEY PONSON COME TO THE WHITE SOX FOR 2 MILLION WHEN YOU COULD GO ELSEWHERE AND MAKE 8 MILLION! That's a great offer!!! I mean what idiots do you think these players are???

 

I have had season tickets for the past 15 years and I can tell you this, I and the millions of Sox fans out there are REALLY REALLY ANGRY right now. Get us a team or GET OUT OF TOWN!!!

It might not even be a bad idea to be accurate in what you write too, don't ya think?

 

I could pick apart that piece of drivel in 5 minutes.

The one big flaw in this is that the contract specifically states that JR can't use US Cell's money on players or pocket it. It can soley be used to renovate the stadium.

 

Now their is nothing wrong with writing letters, but I recommend leaving explictives out of them because the best way for them to gain your respect is to yell swearwords because then you give them reason to throw your letter right into the trash.

 

I'm still willing to be patient, but I think all Sox fans are frustrated right now.

To be honest I'm not at all frustrated at the Sox. Actually I find it funny how the fans are reacting. I guess I'm not a true Sox fan lol.

The good thing is that if it was even posted, it was posted on another message board, albeit the one on the Sox site.

 

The only person who would read this or think about taking the time to respond would be Ncorgbl and I doubt even he would waste his time with it.

 

A letter like that actually reaching Rensdorf would set back real Sox fans and their legitimate complaints two years!

Am I the only one who is not pissed off right now about the Sox. We will be fine next year. It is not like our management is not working to make this team better. Relax guys, it is the beginning of December. Alot of you guys always seem so pissy, they are empty threats; any of you who would give up on the White Sox would not be here. Just settle down, it is getting annoying with everyone whinning. This is like the fifth thread complaining in the last day or so.

I KNOW IVE ASKED THIS 5 TIMES BUT DOES ANYBODY STILL HAVE HOPE? I THINK THAT THE OFFSEASON WILL PROVIDE MANY GOOD CHANGES.

I definately have hope...its just going to be a longer offseason then some expected because the Sox are going to have to move the likes of Maggs, Konerko and Koch to free up room to make other moves.

 

Its going to take time for that to happen and the one thing that I think about is whether or not they will be able to move Konerko and Koch.

 

I do think Kenny is trying his best though, whether thats good enough, I don't know, we'll just have to wait and see.
