White Sox-DBacks 3/6/04 Gametime thread

Featured Replies

Just now had the chance to log on. It is fantastic to see 26 people on this thread. I don't care if it's ST or not when a pitching staff can do what the Sox have done starting out. Got to be pleased.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!! :headbang :headbang :headbang

The pitching was outstanding from start to finish! 23 straight hitters retired from Finley single in the 2nd, to a Zinter single in the 9th.

HELL YES!

WHITE SOX WINNER!

WHITE SOX WINNER!!

That's THREE!

2 ER's in 28 IP, that's a 0.64 team ERA . I LIKE!!! :D

Politte did give up a hit and a wild pitch in the 9th, but Rooney praised him on his heater. I just wish they had the radar gun going to see if his velocity is back up again.

3-0 YES!!! :headbang

Even if this is just Spring Training, it still feels good to win and do it with great pitching nonetheless.

How exciting! Man our pitching has been awesome so far. Keep it up!!

White Sox winner :headbang :headbang :headbang

Rex- What website did you get the Arizona radio station on? So that I can listen tommorrow because the game isn't on ESPN 1000.

3-0!!!!!

Yeah baby...lets keep up that great pitching. Man these guys are doing great so far.

Hell yes! White Sox Winner! 3-0 record! :headbang :headbang

Someone else posted the link earlier in this thread.

Oh, alright.

Thanks.

I'm glad our sox are doing well. 3-0. I'm liking. I'm hoping Uribe, Grilli, and esp. Reed can step it up to impress ozzie.

I am high on Gload right now, can't wait to see him at the Cell this season.

Too bad Jeremy couldn't have tore it up today. I'm so interested to see what this kid has to offer after hearing so much

WOO HOO!!! :headbang

So far I am totally impressed with Rowand and Gload.

Rauch and Cotts really impressed me of what I heard. Both are hitting their spots consistantly. It's gonna be one hellova battle between them and others.

I do kind of wish that Stewart would have been given more than 1 innings worth of work.

Solid outing by Rauch! He's my guy for the 5th spot. This is sweet, 3-0 in ST! :headbang

The only player who really hurt his cause today was Uribe. He DH'ed, finished 0-4, and failed to move over runners at 1st & 2nd. If he's not careful, he'll start the year in Charlotte and a guy like Bobby Smith will go north with the club.

I wouldn't make too much of Uribe's 0 for 4. He's a solid player, he'll be fine...
