March 6, 200422 yr Just now had the chance to log on. It is fantastic to see 26 people on this thread. I don't care if it's ST or not when a pitching staff can do what the Sox have done starting out. Got to be pleased.
March 6, 200422 yr Author AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!! :headbang The pitching was outstanding from start to finish! 23 straight hitters retired from Finley single in the 2nd, to a Zinter single in the 9th.
March 6, 200422 yr Author Politte did give up a hit and a wild pitch in the 9th, but Rooney praised him on his heater. I just wish they had the radar gun going to see if his velocity is back up again.
March 6, 200422 yr 3-0 YES!!! Even if this is just Spring Training, it still feels good to win and do it with great pitching nonetheless.
March 6, 200422 yr Rex- What website did you get the Arizona radio station on? So that I can listen tommorrow because the game isn't on ESPN 1000.
March 6, 200422 yr Yeah baby...lets keep up that great pitching. Man these guys are doing great so far.

March 6, 200422 yr I'm glad our sox are doing well. 3-0. I'm liking. I'm hoping Uribe, Grilli, and esp. Reed can step it up to impress ozzie.
March 7, 200422 yr Too bad Jeremy couldn't have tore it up today. I'm so interested to see what this kid has to offer after hearing so much
March 7, 200422 yr Rauch and Cotts really impressed me of what I heard. Both are hitting their spots consistantly. It's gonna be one hellova battle between them and others.
March 7, 200422 yr I do kind of wish that Stewart would have been given more than 1 innings worth of work.
March 7, 200422 yr Author The only player who really hurt his cause today was Uribe. He DH'ed, finished 0-4, and failed to move over runners at 1st & 2nd. If he's not careful, he'll start the year in Charlotte and a guy like Bobby Smith will go north with the club.
