Record broken

115 user(s) active in the past 15 minutes :D

Thats a new record, 113 users on in last 15 minutes :snr :snr :snr :snr :snr :snr

i agree w/ tony, no reason to get worked up about this, I'm sitting here laughing.

Lol, they had the Sox permission to do the joke.

Entertained me briefly...

looks like it topped off at 115 either way still a record :headbang

Wow, you guys got to relax, it was joke that got everoyne worked up for 20 min. They called the white Sox, so Cotts and Konerko knew about it, if it did get back to them.

Not that it really matters.. but the players didn't know about it beforehand.

Correction... they were told that something was up, but not given details. Also, it appears the Kelly comment was also an attempt at an AF's joke...

How do you know? The Score said that they contacted the Sox orginzation, who knows how long ago, so "players personal lives" im sure wernt affected.

Just a guess....

espn called the cincinatti station to confirm the trade

I thought it was funny!!

Haha that's funny. You gotta give them props. I think it's a good joke, and it got us an exciting April Fools.

This is not juvenile at all. It's April Fools for cripes sake! Now if it were some regular day that they pulled the joke, then that would suck.

It was a good joke. I completely believed it was possible, that's why I started the thread. After Hawk came on he was talking about how it sucked for Rowand because he was never going to get his chance in center field. Good joke though, the fact that they got ESPN to question it makes it classic.

:lolhitting

Damn, and here I was getting all hopeful that the Sox had finally traded Konerko and some action was going to go down. :(

I was so scared while reading this that I read all 9 pages of the thread in like 5 minutes!

Here's how you all should have known it was b.s...Hawk would NEVER criticize a KW/JR/Sox move. He's a corporate yes-man!

Wow, you guys are gullable. My friend tried to pull it on me and I didn't believe it because after the whole A-Rod fiasco, the media gets to things before they are done. I said I won't believe it until I see it. Thus, I didn't fall for it.

All of you :dips*** Not that that's bad... ;)

if anyone is trying to call in, if you get through tell em about this thread

Luckily I wasn't around to get drawn into the hype.

All of you :dips*** Not that that's bad... ;)

Now if we can only be half as good at it as you are.... ;)

:headshake

You disagree?

I love The Hawk, but he IS an ass-kisser!
