Today after the loss the record for people on at one time was shot up more than 50, no wonder it was running soooo slow :o

Lets hope not. There would have to be another substantial collapse to replicate today's record number of members.

Ya, I forget all the aggrevation that the old server company gave. Every two to three months I talk to this company (and its only for a few minute outage which is what I like) and I also tell them how much I appreciate them.

Its just a breath of fresh air to have a stable company (Knock on Wood, lol).

I was curious so I went back and did some research. In addition to breaking the most people on line record yesterday, opening day also registered the 2nd most posts ever in one day with 1974 posts. The record still stands at 2045 on July 2nd, 2003. The old 2nd place total was 1947 posts.

IIRC it was either the Alomar or Everett trades? I am not sure.

Both trades were announced at about 10 pm on July first... One during the sox game, and one about 30 minutes after.

I was at that game instead of posting.. God was it awesome! :headbang
