April 21, 200422 yr Right part of the order due up for the Sox next inning: Ordonez, Lee,konerko. We're due for a comeback against Rivera.
April 21, 200422 yr I just had the opportunity to log on. Buerhle with 7 runs given up in inning 1. What happened? And this game thread is 69 plus pages long. Way to go guys. Let's keep it up!
April 21, 200422 yr Wow, fan at SBC took a nice dive into McCovey Cove after a Bonds HR ball. I seriously doubt he got it.
April 21, 200422 yr Yankees must feel three runs isn't enought with the white sox to send A-Rod into second.

April 21, 200422 yr You really can't blame the bullpen for this one. Seven innings, four runs is not a bad job at all. IMO, we are lacking a shutdown righty, though Adkins is making a damn good case for himself. After this game, my opinion of Cotts starting has totally changed. He is just too wild - I fear him starting a game, then again, he may be a better option than Danny Wright. Our bullpen is going to be tired tommorow. No Adkins, probably no Koch (is that a big deal?), No Jackson - Marte, Cotts, and Shingo ought to be available. We might need another reliever tommorow, but better yet, a huge outting lies ahead for Mr. Garland.
April 21, 200422 yr Test these guys balls now. They've been close to coming back against the Yankees twice. Hopefully, 3rd times the charm.

Clearly you can judge a pitcher by one outing -- Cotts will work better if he doesn't have to deal with inherited runners --
