April 21, 200421 yr Boy did we go out with a whimper in the ninth -- Pauly was the only one who battled in his AB.
April 21, 200421 yr To ask the bullpen to pitch 7 shutout innings against the Yanks is too much. Hopefully this is just a blip on the radar for Burly.
April 21, 200421 yr Cotts wild. Takatsu apparently still can't find the groove and Jackson gives up 4 hits and his first 2 runs of the season. Can't win games when the bullpen gives up runs even when the hitters keep battling. End of game story and you can take that to the presses. Hope for a better luck in the game tomorrow.
April 21, 200421 yr Cant win if we mount a comeback but our relievers allow at least 1 run everytime our offense scores one run. Buehrle's performance today was :puke Hope vasquez doesnt own us again tommorrow.

April 21, 200421 yr Kruky and Reynolds were arguing (sorta) on Baseball Tonight about that rookie pitcher, the 7 run lead etc...
April 21, 200421 yr Well I think we learned tonight that if you give up 7 runs in one inning, it's very difficult to win. Gee, what a fricking revelation. The Sox fought hard (although I would've liked to see the Sox at least test Rivera). Considering the first inning, our bullpen is still fairly well intact for the rest of the series. Only Adkins and Jackson will probably not be able to go tomorrow. A lot of very good offensive performances (Rowand, Magglio, PK, Uribe, Gload, Crede). Very nice attendance too, 32K.
April 21, 200421 yr I thought you were at the game? left during the rain delay, didnt think it would stop plus my dad didnt want me home at 12, had killer seats too!!
April 21, 200421 yr Very nice attendance too, 32K. Attendace: 32,034. I posted the wrong games attendance -- you were right. Edited April 21, 200421 yr by The Cheat
