Why are the Sox chats so dead lately?

Come into the room and liven it up.

Whats up with no one being in there almost...

people going to the games? :huh

Ppl goin to class? :huh

people driving up their post totals in game threads? *cough*gwerty*cough*

Gotta be my fault, whenever I'm in there, I'm usually by myself.

that too, i'll go in and then see that no ones there and then leave.

Usually the chats are bigger during road games. Sometimes I stop in the chats, but usually I follow the game threads more cause I can zone out of game threads and still figure out whats going on, well at least semi.

Not reall i just post what happened if it's been a while and no one else has. I mean it's not like i have what im gonna say typed out before it's gonna happen because im that concerned to be the first. It's not that at all

i think he's just razzin ya qwert :)

Most of the time, I'm not even awake for the bulk of the game and I couldn't watch it if I was. When I can watch it, I prefer the game thread to java chat. In fact, I prefer most any form of communication to java chat.

Alright i was just about to say it's not like im really worried with post totals. I'm not trying to impress anyone or anything.

personally i can't access any of the whitesoxcentral.com pages, i haven't been able to for about a month...before i was in the chat room as much as possible

zirc, you aren't the first person I've heard thats had that problem. The other person that I know did had the start working for him again. I'll ask him what he did to get it to work.

Hopefully bobdylan sees this and he can maybe straighten it out and help you get it solved :)

Maybe it's the better weather. I watch the games out in my garage when it's nice out.

Personally, as I have said before, I am not a big fan of the chat format. There is too much clutter and other stuff going on to follow easily. I prefer the clarity of the game threads.

You mean your wife kicks you outside in the garage when the weather gets nice, right?

s***, I've been outed!

Yeah, come on in and liven it up!

When I watch Sox games, I do other stuff as well. Like homework, IM, flipping channels, etc. so being in a chat isn't the best thing because you have to be tuned in pretty much the whole time. I like the game threads personally. Also, I don't like that when I'm in the chat, it's impossible to read anytihng typed in above what you can see because whenever a new message is sent, the screen scrolls down again.

gamethreads are just more fun too.....don't ask me why.

I prefer to talk with people in the chat instead of a message board...thats how I like my addressings to happen...

I actually wasn't aware of that problem.

It may be due inpart to the index the server is loading. I'll check with the guy that runs the server tonight.
