May 28, 200421 yr I actually not against having Adkins start, he's pitched well this year and to me, he is as solid as any other option out there...I think Rauch will be starting though...

May 28, 200421 yr Yeah, it's all but official that Rauch is starting. Rooney even said in an interview "Rauch is starting Saturday". I hope he learned how to walk down stairs since his last start.

I say give it a shot....or am way off base? FOB Adkins doesn't have the muscular endurance to stretch his arm out and go for a good 4 innings...Rauch, Grilli or Munoz would be best.

He didn't piss anyone off -- Right now, He does NOT have major league stuff -- The sox used his first option after he was on the DL and he never came back to chicago when eligible. He can go up and down at the will of the sox the rest of the year without penalty. He makes the same money either way ($800,000). He has admitted himself that he is getting hitters out with junk right now. Junk won't cut it.
