CWSOX45 When he was first traded to florida he was put in the setup role, when braden looper was closing so I'm guessing he wouldn't mind not closing again. I wouldn't mind urbina but I think there are other relievers out there I'd prefer.

Until that need is alleviated, there shouldn't even be talk about closers and such. 1. Get Glavine/Garcia 2. Get Finley/Beltran Then, if any money is left.....If Shingo-Marte combo is our biggest worry, then start the WS parade now.

Exactly no matter how much ozzie wants our starting pitchers aren't always going to get through seven. Get one more reliever and the pen should be set. Get to the 8th inning with Marte and Shingo and GAME OVER.

Good post - IMO right now, we have two guys who I have confidence in taking the ball, and one is our closer (Shingo and Marte). We need to get another reliever - if it only takes two lower level prospects for Urbina, I'd do it in an instant.

Sox have only 2 LH bats that are worth a damn, and 1 of them is not proven. If neither are solved, it will not matter if our #3 reliever is Urbina or Politte.
