I think we are really gonna be hurting for runs with out konerko. The pitchers we are gonna be facing are no scrubs.

For someone who is more baseball wise than I am - can you tell me why they don't guard the lines with two outs? I mean, less damage if you guard the lines and he gets it to Crede's left. Anyone help me out here?

I love how he added "unless we have seen him with some other team in spring training".

Both pitchers are pitching well, they just cant get any run support.

The problem is that the Sox dont scout pitching. Last year in a pregame interview, Crede was asked if they had seen video on a pitcher that was being called up. He said no. He was asked if he knew how goo dhis stuff was, he said "no". He was asked if he knew what type of PITCHES the guy had, he said "no". So basically, the entire club had no idea what they were going to face. It could have been a 59 MPH knuckleballer or a 100 MPH heat throwing pitcher. They wouldnt have knonw until the first pitch.
