You absolutely must deliver in a pressure situation like that, all he had to do was get a fly ball. The top of the lineup killed the Sox ... Harris struggling, Uribe struggling, this was a mess. Yesterdays game, I don't feel too bad about, the weather was awful but tonite, you give up two runs and lose the game. That is bulls***. A continuing weakness on this team ... a high OBP guy. That's why I think Kendall is a good idea. We absolutely need guys who can consistently get on base, that's how you win.
July 5, 200421 yr A continuing weakness on this team ... a high OBP guy. He was on the bench for 3 games. But Konerko was one of the few hitters that showed up this series.
