October 11, 200421 yr Wow, this comes as a shocker. I thought he was in excellent shape, minus the paralysis and that he would one day walk again. Thats really sad. RIP

October 11, 200421 yr My parents took me out of school early one day while I was in 3rd grade to go see Superman: The Movie and to this day it stands as one of the best days of my life. Thanks Chris, you rocked!

I guess the inactivity must played a part, but wow. Just a wild guess, but I would guess that he was on a ton of medication because of the paralysis. Some of that stuff is rough on the heart.
