November 25, 200421 yr When did I become the family IT guy In the past couple days I bought a new family computer Ripped apart the old familt computer for the hard drive and the CD burner and bought from Newegg a new mobo, case, CPU, memory etc. So know the fun begins. No sound from the upgraded computer. After reattaching all the wires to the mobo, and troubleshooting all the hardware, I realize the software was set to mute Now I cannot get any of the computers to share the printer. I've been around and around trying to make it work but so far no dice. And how is everyone else's Thanksgiving?
November 25, 200421 yr Flu? Either that or food poisoning. It's basically the same thing at this point anyway. I think it's the flu, my mom thinks it's food poisoning because I don't have any other symptoms. I haven't eaten anything weird though. Of all days...plus if I was sick I could have at least gotten off of school a day or 2, but no, it has to happen over a designated off day and on Thanksgiving.

November 25, 200421 yr YYAAAWWWNNN!! I figured I'd shake myself out of the food coma long enough to wish all SoxTalkers a Happy Turkey Messacre Day! Honey-maple brined bird on the grill was a success. Time to make the carcass soup now! Gobble Gobble!
November 26, 200421 yr Healthy enough to stuff down the meal. Gotta love pumpkin pie. Hope everyone loved their own Thanksgiving dinner as much as I did.
