They said Golden State was doing background checks on Curry at the present time. I have no idea why the Clippers would do this, both Wilcox and Simmons are better than Dunleavy, but they ARE the Clippers. Paxson, I'm sure would make this trade in a heartbeat.

December 6, 200421 yr I'd rather do the Curry-Sweetny (sp?) trade... Sweetney would be nice to have, but Wilcox is better than Curry, and Simmons is having a breakout season. Either trade would help the Bulls, getting rid of the dog named Curry would be a step in the right direction, but they won't be serious contenders until they acquire one of the top 10 players in the league.
