MVP Baseball 2005

Just played an exhibition game against the Cubs. I won 2-0 in 14 innings. The most suprising thing is Mark Buehrle got the game winning RBI in the top of the 14th. :headbang :headbang

Just finished my first season:

I won 105 games. Mark Buehrle got the Cy Young, going 24-5 with 189 K's. Frank Thomas had a late season surge and finished with 42 homers and 108 RBI's. Ross Gload was my second best position player. And, I finished in positive digits in owner mode, purchased an outfield upgrade restaurant, as well as a seating upgrade.

I play Baltimore in round one. Boston plays Oakland (who were down ten games in August, yet came back to beat out the Mariners). In the NL, the Cubs face the Mets, and the Doddddgers face the Cards.

Hopefully I can win some games to get some money for my franchise.

I just drafted a team that i felt would be an offensive power house

CF: Carl Crawford

2B: Marcus Giles

1B: Albert Pujols

SS: Miggy Tejada

3B: Eric Chavez

DH: Aubrey Huff

C: Joe Mauer

LF: Aaron Rowand

RF: Alexis Rios

I switch it up depending on matchups... giles is really good vs lefties and sucks vs righties or vice versa cant remember.

SP: Rich Harden, Dontrelle Willis, AJ Burnett, ......., Dan Meyer(top 100 prospect)

BP a bunch of scrubs besides Dotel.

still dont have the game and dont plan on getting it

Just finished my first season, finally. 101-61 was my record. Omar Daal went 19-4 with a 2.90 era  Vlad got MVP going .329/45/145, Rowand was .298/44/112, and J Reed was ROY. Jimmy Rollins had 22 home runs too. I'm going into the playoffs without Rollins, Mauer, Barret, Lohse, and Delucci. Everyone got hurt in September games that I simmed after winning the division. My starting SS is Royce Clayton and my catcher is some minor leaguer that isn't a real MLB player.

Beat aboz twice today :P

nope

Drafted my 1st owner mode team, Lineup:

Rocco Baddelli

Jack Wilson

Frank Thomas

Albert Pujos

Shawn Green

Dallas McPHerson

Randy Winn

Y. Tallerbi

Adam Kennedy

Bench:

Jason LaRue

Willie Harris

Ruben Sierra

Jose Cruz Jr.

Rotation:

Smoltz

Prior

Kim

Ohka

Kip Wells

Pen:

Arther Rhodes

Herminson

Remlinger

Koch

Graves

Urbina

Izzy

Just turned my first triple play, I think, ever. Runners on first and third, ground ball down the third base line, runner tries to go back and Blalock tags him, throws to second for two, and Soriano goes to first for three.

After winning the WS, I just finished the offseason. My 2006 team looks like this:

Hairston

A-Row

Vlad

Aramis

David Wright

Uribe

Derek Lee

Joe Mauer

J Reed

Eric Byrnes

Jimmy Rollins

Justin Morneau

Michael Barrett

Prior

Lohse

Daal

Joe Kennedy

Jeff Francis

Steve Kline

Julio

Bradford

Soriano

Tsao

I went 11-0 in the playoffs, playing every game. My starters gave up 3 runs in the 11 games, I should really play on All-Star this next season.

I think I might go by it today. Is it going to be worth the 50$, even if I have 2004?

I guess they followed suit of the 2k games. Well, that makes my decision real easy

After a lot of trading I think I finally created a team I could live with for the whole season possibly.

C: Victor Martinez

1B: Derek Lee

2B: Jorge Cantu

SS: Khalil Greene

3B: Mark Teixiera

LF: Carlos Lee

CF: Carl Crawford

RF: Austin Kearns

SP: Johan Santana

SP: Jake Peavy

SP: Oliver Perez

SP: Ben Sheets

SP: Rich Harden

its amazing how you can get value for guys like Jose Reyes even though there are higher SS's rated then him...

soooo is anybody about to trade in MVP who would be willing to sell it off?

I did a fantasy draft at A-Rod was somehow there in the second round.

I'm too hooked on the game to ever give it up. Plus since there isn't going to be an MVP next year, I think I'm gonna hang onto it.

Just did a fantasy draft yesterday and set up my dynasty. Roster looks like this.

C: Barajas(Might try to move him)

1B: Morneau

2B: Sean Burroughs

3B: Teixiera

SS: Brian Roberts

LF: Aubrey Huff

CF: Randy Winn

RF: Vlad Guerrero

Bench:

Jeremy Reed

Keith Ginter

Robb Quinlan

Chris Gomez

M. Ghafouri (Highly Rated Young Catcher)

Rotation and Pen:

Peavy

Harden

Vazquez

Garland

B. Meyers

JC Romero

Hermanson

Ray King

Rafael Soriano

Eddie Guardado

Guillermo Mota

Joe Nathan

This was all straight off the draft, no trades or anything yet. Any thoughts? Trade suggestions?

How long did it take you to do the entire mlb draft. I always wanted to do it, but I got sick of it after the 8th round.

it takes hardly anytime at all.... maybe if you want to do all the minor leagues that takes time but to just draft the mlb team isnt that long.
