I think it finishes at .500 but I'll pull for Michigan.

Yeah Hawks, I couldn't believe. Representing Iowa.

I'm gonna hold onto this for a while, while I can. The only shred of optimism I have left.

As bad as LSU's clock management? A big factor in how Iowa won...

Great win for Iowa... they have played well all year, however they should thank the lsu safty for blowing the coverage on the slot..... My brother was @ the game in orlando.. he said it was cazy all kinds of lsu fans were talking s*** after iowa won, Best bowl game so far

damn straight, with a minute left, 4 downs, and about 10 yards to go, why in god's name would you spike the ball on 1st down?

Congrats to Iowa, greatest play in college football history...until I sleep it off.

Still awful clock management by Iowa on that last possession and why did that corner come off the guy who made the game winning catch?

Still, that play really didn't do one thing or another. Iowa would of burned a timeout then and LSU would of scored still. Time wouldn't of been wasted.

When it comes to poor clock management you can't look past Iowa. Tate did such a good job on the first play and getting the 2nd play ran and then did awful the next time.

Luckily they overcame it. They were the better team today and almost lost.

LSU spiking the ball, allowed iowa to get the ball back with tons of time.

And your right iowa's play call at the end was pretty terrible, they overcame it, congrats to them

Ya, instead they would of ran a play and got a touchdown. Its a stupid play, but in terms of this game it didn't cost them. Nor did Iowa's poor clock management.

Both teams got lucky in that regards. Its not like LSU was going to run the clock out, they just didn't need to be concerned with the time and should of just ran the TD play.

Just my 2 cents though.

on a side note, what's wrong with the quote feature?

:crying What happened?? I left at halftime to go to a New Years Day party and missed the end of the game.

Edit: 56 yard TD pass, damn..

Iowa was dominating the whole game but then JaMarcus Russell came in for LSU and lead them back and they were up 1 with about 35 seconds left. Iowa gained about 15-20 yards, then they completed the 56 yard TD as time expired.
