I don't think the Bulls are going to get it, especially if they struggle when they play all those road games. I'm thinking it's a battle between Washington and Orlando for that 6th spot.

I just want the playoffs. I don't care what seed we get. Getting to the playoffs will be a wonderful step in the right direction for this franchise.

When they're healthy, yes I do believe that's the case, although I know a lot of people are going to dispute that. If you look at some of the Bulls' stats, they really struggle against good scoring teams, despite how good their defense may be (3-8 vs. top 10 scoring teams), and against teams that hardly turn the ball over (4-9 vs. top 10 least turnover prone teams). And the Bulls have had a very good run with injuries so far this season, unlike previous years. If someone like Hinrich went down, they'd be in big trouble.

I think the Bulls will win 45 games this year and that would be cool if they got the 6th seed since there's a good chance of a sub-500 team coming out of there.

i really dont think magic have an edge on the bulls at all. But I still predict a 6th or 7th finish for us.

Just don't finish 8th seed and we got a chance at the 2nd round.

 

Although, 8th seed is better than nothing. Making the playoffs would put us way ahead of where we should be.

 

Making it is gonna be hard as hell though, February is gonna be a very telling month.

It could actually be a blessing in disguise. I think in 2 years, Francis will be a very good candidate to be traded, for this team to take the next step, and I think they may just do that if Jameer Nelson can prove he can handle the load of being a starting PG.

The Bulls are young, they are playing well but Ill take Franchise, Grant Hill, and Christie over the Bulls top 3 players

Francis is obviously better than anyone on the bulls. But Grant Hill is so injury prone as of late that id rather not have him and Christie isnt that good either.

Francis is a monster and hill shouldn't get injured now that his surgery actually got done correctly. Bu the bulls have three to five players better than christie without a doubt.

Steve Francis is a must-have fantasy player who you don't want on your actual team, similar to Stephon Marbury. These guys are not winners.

 

I think that the Magic are a good team. I went as far as to say that they're better than the Lakers back in mid-December, IIRC (not so sure about that right now on Jan 31, however). Howard hasn't been as effective as he was through early December, which isn't that big of a surprise. He had 10 or more rebounds in each of his first 15 games.

 

Man Of Steel, you should mention Dwight Howard first and foremost when discussing the key players on the Magic, and not some flashy turnover-prone point guard with a shoot first mentality.

Dwight Howard is really going to be a monster in 2 years. And Hammer's right, for this team to move forward in the next few years, Steve Francis will probably have be to be moved. He could be traded for a pass first point guard like Mike Bibby, or if Jameer Nelson can prove he can handle the load, they could try to trade Francis for a fairly good center. Cato has been pretty good this season, when he's been healthy, and that hasn't been too often.

I didnt mention Howard because he was a rookie, and I was just talking bout the veteren players they have as opposed to the Bulls but I know Howard is a key player..

 

Francis may have a lot of turnovers but so does Dwayne Wade, Kobe, Iverson, and even LeBron.. That just happens when you handle the ball a lot more than everyone else.. I dont mind is Steve is a shoot first guy, but to defend him he still avgs 6.9 Assists Per Game which is good for 9th overall in the league..

I really don't think there's going to be that many great players this year in the draft. If I were a Bulls fan, I think it may be best to see them finally get there, and at least get some playoff experience under their belts.
