Despite my thoughts on the trade, which I won't discuss here, we'd be adding at least $5 million to our payroll if we did either of those moves. It ain't gonna happen.

So you're complaining about the state of our farm system, and you'd think that I would favor a B-Mac and Anderson deal for Placido Polanco. That's insane. What is the difference between Cabrera @ 32 million over 4 years, and Polanco for about $4.85 mill for 1 season anyway? And if we gave up Garland and Harris for Orlando, who's our 5th starter going to be all of a sudden?
