who is Brian Diaz????

That'd be Felix Diaz, who is looking damn good.

Error by Rogo, runner on first, two outs.

EDIT: Just as I say that, he leaves a fat one right over the middle of the plate. Ugh, come on Felix.

Damn rogo, now diaz gives up a double to make it second and third two outs.

Something that seems to happen to Felix is he gets 2 quick outs and then next thing you know there is a 3 spot on the board. I know rogo just made an error but there seems to be some let down in Felix after the first 2 outs.

Paulie boy goes yard!

:headbang

Ryan makes a nice play to get Felix out of the inning.

Way to battle, Felix!

And, nice grab by Sweeney to end the inning.

I'm glad that Felix isn't making it anywhere our roster this year.

What exactly did he just do that was wrong?

He usually gets rocked, that's what. I crap my pants when he's on the mound.

By the way, the Padres announcers are talking about what a bust Ben Davis was as a 1st Round Draft pick for the Padres. Apparently, one guy in the front office wanted Ben Davis and the other wanted Jose Cruz Jr.

Hmm... Judging him off of last season, right around 50 IP?

Ok, that's all I needed to know.

Yup, hope he continues it. I think it's pretty obvious right now that a lot of Felix's issues are mental, hopefully he can overcome that.

I know, I'm a real jagoff for being 16, huh? :P

Some of the stuff on the board gets to me, though. I can take it when someone criticizes someone for doing something bad, but it gets to a point with some guys (like Borchard) where it's just being overkill. At least, IMHO.

Kind of like judging a guy his first year off surgery on 45 major league innings.

.........and timo.

Diaz getting knocked around the yard.

5-2.

And now the criticism can start. Go ahead, blast away.

I just don't like seeing him getting criticized after pitching around the error, and getting one of the best lefties in the game out.

Hmmm.. who's pee pee will go further... :rolly

All you need to know is that he only has 2 pitches. That's why he gets rocked. ;)

Diaz will be in the next rounds of cuts. Arnie Munoz, too.

Why don't we see more of Jeff Bajenaru?

I see three. Slider, fastball, changeup. As called by DJ and Hawk.

But hey, I'm glad you know more than both of them -- or better yet, that you're a major league pitcher.
