I think that was more of a botched hit and run...

Either way it was sad.

Pretty sure you're right, that's the first thing I thought of.

Crede isn't gonna win any foot races, so unless Ozzie forgot who was out there...

Crede should never be trying to steal anything

Davis throws out Kotchman by a mile on a steal attempt to 2nd base.

A botched hit and run always makes the runner look bad.

How does BMac look?

He's been stealing a major league paycheck for a couple of years :bang

I have to say BMac is f***ing awesome... I love this kid. Give him another year and he may break this lineup...impressive

McCarthy strikes out two men to end the inning. 3 scoreless innings so far by B-Mac!

Looks great.

I've preached how you can't judge a guy off of a sample size, but you could just see that this kid knows how to pitch (with, of course, the backing of awesome minor league stats). He attacks both sides of the plate, up, down, changes speeds.

Excellent approach to Mathis. Gave him everything high and away, 2-2 count, takes something off a breaking pitch and gets Mathis to swing at a pitch in the dirt.

Very composed especially once runners have gotten on. He has induced two double plays i believe. Seems like he is pitching better once someone reaches base. Also, like that he uses every part of the plate.

And the really good news is we are scoring runs this spring WITHOUT having to rely on the long ball...although yesterday it was nice against the Cubs. B)

Whats the lineup for the Angels?

Last season, for instance, there is no way we moved runners along and scored them on timely sac flys or base hits. This makes me happy. :headbang

Everett draws a walk.

I don't know the whole lineup, but Figgins, Davanon, Guerrerro, Cabrera, and Finley are all starting. Not the whole Anahiem starting lineup, but a good portion of it.

Konerko K's. Dye draws a walk.

Gotta love the first pitch strikes by B-Mac.

I cant watch the game, but does he remind you guys of Buerle?

He pitches as quickly as Buehrle, but he has more of an attack mode. BMac is impressive.

Yes, great control with good but not overpowering stuff. He looks like Black Jack with the pitching skills of Buehrle/Maddux.
