What trade did he come here in? I forget.

Even better. Ozuna is a non-roster invitee. We got him for nothing. Check out his minor leage numbers here:

Pablo Ozuna (minor league totals)

.317 career AVG

.357 career OBP

.443 career SLG

.800 career OPS

234 career SB

He was a top prospect for the Marlins back in 2000. He was ranked 62nd best prospect in the MLB by Baseball America back then.

Non-roster invite I thought?/Minor league deal

He played in AAA for the Phillies last year

I don't want to hear a lot of ripping of Brantley on here after all the whining that's been done here lately about the national media. I was very impressed with B-Mac as it was the first time I've seen him. I think you give Contreras half a season and if he's his 5.50 self, you move him to one of the teams that covet him (Arizona and Florida).

Yep, Ozuna lit it up for the Phillies AAA team last year...

I think Kenny found a diamond in the ruff. If not, he will definately be a solid utility infielder. Ozuna got out of favor with the Marlins when his real age came out. He's actually 30 years old which is 4 years older than his listed age. Apparently, he lied about his age when he defected from the Dominican.

Fields reaches 1st on an error by the 3rd baseman.

OZUNA hits another double.  He's a STUD!  Fields scores!

Brian Anderson hits a single up the middle.  Ozuna scores!

Sox 8-3!

dont get too excited, seasons over, we cant score runs.

Bases loaded for Angels, no outs. :o

I have no clue who any of these people are that are playing....

Big error by whoever is playing 2B...easy grounball for a DP and he bobbeled it...

He just knows what he is talking about period. From the cubs to the rangers to the sox etc... He knows his s*** and knows it well.

Yeah, well I was a great teacher

That'd be Pedro Lopez.

That'd be someone that won't ever sniff the jock of a major league roster.

Thank you... I forgot his name :bang

Was going to comment on Iguchi hear. This was the first time I got to see him and I must say I was impressed. Really hit the ball with authority to the opposite field.

Although he struck out on a horrible pitch. Seems to have a decent eye though. Pods did nothing today.

Dye looks in good shape and had some good Ab's.

Who is pitching? Is that Diaz?

Anyone notice Vizcaino is fiddling with something. Looks to me as if he's throwing entirely slider/2seamer and is not using his better fastball.

What the hell was that? It was five feet into the grass, why wouldnt the SS go and get that?

Why? 'Cause he made an error?

He's probably in the top three as far as MIF prospects, I'll be interested in seeing what he, along with Andy Gonzalez, do this season at their respective clubs.

Brian Anderson with an error that lets 2 runs score. Game should be over. :chair

Yup your definitely right, I"ve seen him throw one 4 seamer. Bad communication by the defenders caused viz to let up a couple unearned runs but he was pretty impressive to me this inning how he battled back with the bases loaded and nobody out.

theres been some nasty errors by the sox today. This game should be 8-1

i really hope i dont see a 3 run bomb :banghead

Mental error but not scored one. Still unearned runs though.

SOX WIN!

8-5, SOX WIN!!!

Wasn't Ozuna playing ss? I know Lopez made an error but trust me when I say he's a very good defensive infielder or at least he projects that way?

But on the one that Anderson couldn't get to (the shallow fly) the shortstop had given up on it way too early.
