I don't understand the point of all the hatred.  The Cubs and Sox are both Chicago based teams.  It only makes sense that we share a message board.

You must not have grown up in chicago a sox fan. The cubs are not based in chicago as far as I am concerned. If this becomes a cubs message board too, I for one, am out.

Interesting note on that banner: Has anybody else noticed that Mark Buherle & Kerry Wood have pitched in exactly the same number of games? MB threw 25 games in relief in 2000, so KW has more starts, but the numbers are very similar, esp. considering KW is considered a god in the baseball media and MB is kind if an afterthought at best.

I've been asking for a long time why we cannot have Cub fans here. Now that Boston won a world series, I want one for Chicago. If it means the Cubs, I'll cheer just as loud.
