In all fairness to Crede, that first pitch was pretty high in the strike zone.

If are rotation holds up in July,and is looking strong, A 3 bagger will be brought in at the deadline.

a very good point, but it will be temp, Josh Fields will be brought up next year. The org is very high on him.

Any ideas on third-basemen that can be a 1-2 year filler? I doubt that the Phils want to move Bell or Placido. ANy bad teams with an expiring contract?

I wouldn't be too worried about it yet. This is the worst lineup we'll field all year. Also, the hitting conditions today aren't exactly ideal (even though it's saved Garcia about 3 runs).

Seriously now, has anyone noticed that he now rests his bat on his shoulder and then brings it up as the ball is delivered. Miguel Olivo did that for his first season and it didnt work why would it work for Joe. Take the bat off your shoulder Joe you have enough problem with generating contact without inserting a new and improved hitch in your swing.

Not really. The Crede-lovers only make an appearance when he actually does something, which is not very often.
