Our rotation leads the AL in many categories:

Which proves the importance of El Duque even more.

Hernandez against a lineup full of lefties is a difficult match-up for him. He has to rely a lot more on his fastball against lefties, and that's not a strength in his repetoire.

what ever happened to Jody Gerut? i know he ended up losing his job last year, but what happened after that?

Thank you, stupid fan!

thnk god for that dumb fan

Dear El Duque,

A fan just gave you a f***ing huge ass break, you now HAVE TO get this guy out and keep it tied.

Hernandez's slow curve has not been effective tonight. Indians have a much better approach against him than the Twins did.

Duque is about done here. Haha security takes care of the fan. They should at least give him the ball if they're kicking him out.

wasnt the fans fault, it went otu of play between teh rail, and that stupid flag brought it back

The flying under the radar thing doesn't make any sense to me. I think it's just pure & simple bias. Detroit signs top FA in Maggs so they jump over us.

Cleveland signs Milwood so they jump over us. Minny has Santana so they remain ahead of us.

It really comes down to what players they like & what players they don't.

They obviously don't like our players.

But what has to shock them is that we are 6-2 & still in line to win our 7th.

We are doing this on the strength of a team hitting 241 & holding the opposition to 227. Contrast that with last yr's team that hit 268 but allowed the opposition to hit 272.

We are 6-2 because we are getting better than expected competitve pitching and timely hits. But just as we probably won't hold the opposition to 230 all yr we certainly aren't going to end the season hitting 241.

It's our pitching that has afforded us the luxury of struggling offensively.

I wouldn't consider that flying under the radar. It's more like the radar is busted & we're the biggest plane in the sky right now.

Nice... that young inbred boy saved us a run!

Whew....Duque's got to be done.  Was anyone in the pen?

Mr. Cotts.

That dumbass fan just saved El Duque's ass and possibly the game.

Thank you Jose Hernandez.  He's stranded 5 runners his last two AB

im guessin el duque is done, 92 pitches and he is starting to lose it a bit, maybe 1 more inning and if he gets in trouble ozzie goes to the pen
