Garcia is overdue for the type of outing that we expect from him. That last effort against Seattle was less than stellar. Buehrle battled today and picked up a much deserved win. Now lets see Garcia go out there and give us

7 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 Ks

:gosox3:

what? overdue? if you count one less than average start against seattle as overdue than maybe. but his two outings against cle were almost exactly what you project as his KC game.... 6IP 5H 2ER 3BB 6K and 8 IP 4H 1ER 2BB 4K

Freddy has terrible splits against the Royals, Contreras owns the Royals, and El Duque's only seen them once.

I hope we at least win the series.

sorry, but I still love Tony G.

i like tony as well, but that line-up is horrid.

I love Tony G too.

Spod walks and then steals! 1 out.

C'mon PK drive him in

PK walks on 4 straight, Dye up.

Pods to 3rd somehow.

Yes, that was a terrible at-bat by Dye. I really don't like his chances against rhp. Also, does it seem like Garcia never throws his splitter/changeup anymore? He seems like a total two pitch pitcher now.

Pods has 2 SBs in 2 innings...

You think he'll get 9 tonight?

Nice, Scotty -- two walks. That 'away to set the table... :) :headbang

Very nice to see Iguchi finally beat out an infield single. I expected him to be faster than he is, but I'm pleased with his adjustments he seems to be making.

I'm still very dissapointed with how Dye and Rowand have hit so far this year.
