Could you explain what happened?  I can't wait until I can actually watch some games and not have to use gameday.

He was playing the hitter up the middle and had to range to his left to field a ground ball. Rather than try to make a difficult force play back at second, he made the correct, split second decisison to take the sure out at first - with the score what it is.

Widgemeister thank you very much.

Widger got a gift single. :)

Lets go Joe, get a hit for yourself.

There's a big group of Sox fans near 1st base. Anyone know who they are? Maybe it's just the bunch of kids that sang the national anthems.

santo,

i would love to get wagner, but dont u think it would require either McCarthy and/or Anderson/Sweeney. That would rock tho, a bullpen of

Pollite

Viz

Marte

Hermey

Wagner

Shingo

wow! thats 6 good closers we would have

And both times going the other way. Keep it up Joe. Don't get discouraged.

Thanks for explaining. You guys are really great at play-by-play. It's almost better than actually watching a game...almost.

And Iguchi has just been awesome. I couldn't have asked for more from that guy.

What's cool about this is that nobody is actually doing play by play. Just a few guys talking as the game goes on.

Just by PK, double for Adams...

Settle down get through 2 more and turn it over to the pen Jon
