I hope Garland doesn't ease up.

I hope Ozzie isn't compelled to get Jon a third straight CG. Get him into the 7th and give the pen a little work and rest his arm.

He's saving them for when we really need them.

I think he's going to have a few more chances today, anyway. :P

He won't pitch 9. If he had the shutout, maybe.

Didn't Willie have 4 SB in a game a few years back?

Might be time to get Neal some work.

A good day to get Neal some work.

Cotts may get some innings.

That's what I like about Garland. He got behind Hinske 3-0, came back, and got him out.

I do not remember Lew (Lou?) Frazier.

Where'd you get that idea?

Yeah.

We need to improve his trade value so we can trade him for this guy:

Seven at-bats with the sox then retired.

Could you explain what happened? I can't wait until I can actually watch some games and not have to use gameday.

DJ just said that Lew Frezier was the last Sox to do it back in '98.

Think Buerhle is telling the guys to relax and save some hits for tomorrow?

Well ... my comment was based on a couple of plays. Earlier, Wells hit a hig chopper that he fielded and he had no chance to get him, and put it in his pocket instead of making an ill-advised throw. The second play happened last inning, he fielded a ground ball, look and cocked to throw to second to get the force, realized he didn't have a play and got the sure out at first.

Ground ball to his left, looked to 2nd realized he didn't have a play and went to first.
