Ohhh Myyyy D.J. has changed it a little bit

That was a line shot, didn't have much time to get the UH-OH in.

2-1

NIce play by Iguchi there. 2-1 Sox

After the Sox lead 2-1.

Garland with 25 pitches. Could be a short afternoon unless he gets some quick innings here.

Well, that's a 24 pitch inning for Garland. I hope he settles down.

How does his control look?

One ininning done. We got the lead and Garland looks to have good stuff. All is good.

A bit of between innings trivia ... Who is Doug Ault? What's special about him in Jays vs Sox history?

Game number one for the Jays against the Sox. Was it a 3 homer game?

On Opening Day in 1977, Ault hit this first home run in Blue Jays History off the White Sox Ken Brett. Ault hit another home run in the game and Toronto won the game 9-5.

Great piece of hitting into right by JD

I believe he hit two. But it was the Jays initial game as an expansion team. Maybe, 1977?

The biggest difference that inning compaed to Garland's previous starts was that the Blue Jays hitters were not chasing his little slider in on the lefties hands. Garland's only real mistake was a stupid 1-2 pitch to Koskie on the outside corner. If Koskie gets his arms extended, he's a dangerous hitter.

Looks OK. Even with a 4 pitch walk and an 0-2 pitch down the middle.

Juan Uribe says :fyou bunt

DJ forgot to say uh-oh!!!!

Bye Bye 4 - 1

Wow, that's a lot better than a sacrifice bunt!

Uribe crushed that one......
