Just got home guys, but heard the 3rd inning on the radio. Anyone else questioning the sac bunt by Iguchi? We are up 2, why not play for the big inning? Instead we have our hottest hitter bunt, and we end up getting nothing. Oh well. Hopefully Sox hold on and I look dumb...no jokes plz.

I'm not a fan of smallball, but it was the right move having Iguchi bunt. The move would have paid off with an easy run if Everett would step his game up. Everett and Rowand had two pathetic ABs in that inning.

I agree with ya, Brian. Others think that your number three hitter should get the job done, which is a good point. Difference of opinions, but I'd rather seen Gooch swing away.

It's the right call. You advance both runners and avoid the DP. It's called fundamental baseball.

Terrible f***ing swing by Dye. All three of his at-bats have been awful tonight. BTW, Konerko almost hurt his hamstring by overextending when he reached first base before.
