Sometimes you get worried about Freddie being like Garland last year. Has a tendency to let down and then gives up a big inning. But, he gets out of the 3rd giving up 1 run. Let's get it back Sox!

I asked this question last night, but I might as well ask again in case someone knows.  Whenever I try to open up the chat room (or a lot of online games) my explorer just closes by itself.  Does someone know why that happens?

Yeah, since he's an automatic out, he might as well work the pitchers pitch count a bit. McCarthy did against Prior, he had an 8 or 9 pitch at bat. But Prior got the complete game anyways.

Why the green?

I love the hustle that Ozuna shows.......but can he even hit the ball out of the infield? He must lead all of the majors in fewest feet per hit (the anti-Konerko).

The only problem with putting on a hit-and-run with Uribe at the plate is that the opposing team knows they don't have to throw pitches near the plate in order for Uribe to swing right now. Thus, you get a very high pitch like the pitch which got Widger thrown out on the bases.

He ought to just bunt every time. Bunt, and stand right on the plate. His average is plummeting, hopefully he can keep the OBP reasonably high...
