When the Cubs board has 2 pages worth of posts, and the Sox board has 9, it's odd.

Many of their fans are s***faced at the local watering hole.

But it's hard to decide which team is worse.

The Rox have Chacon and Francis going Saturday and Sunday. The Rox could very well take 3 out of 4 from the Cubs.

LaChoke gets booed with a 2-out walk and a 7 run lead.

Absolutely unrelated to this thread, but I can't believe they didn't let us go early today. Oh well, so much for hoping.

Ouch, I didn't see it happen but getting hit flush in the elbow is one of the more painful places to be hit.

Wow, LaChoke tries to make every game exciting. How many times does he struggle after getting the first 2 outs? Bases loaded now.

Chacon isn't pitching for the Rockies tomorrow. He's scratched with a bad ankle, and everyone's favorite B. Kim will be going tomorrow.

I highly doubt Prior actually drove himself!  I know he's the Messiah and all, but it would seem painful to have to keep your right elbow elevated while you drive.

I agree. I doubt the Messiah drives himself anywhere.

He arrived at Northwestern via ambulance with his wife and trainer.

Wow, Comcast once again reported that he drove himself there. The one Comcast guy said, "well, at least he can still drive."

That's funny, because Comcast just said again that he drove himself to the hospital...and used it as good news to show he was ok enough to do that. I trust your report a lot more though.

If he went to the ER and he was just your average person, he would probably only have to wait a couple more hours to be attended to.

Are they retarded or what...? MJ&H reported he went by ambulance... joked about Bruce putting on a Dr's coat and riding along. :rolly

That sounds right.

Dusty said it did hit him directly on the elbow.

Maybe whomever said that Comcast is trying to cover up the injury a bit is right. Comcast IS owned by the Cubune, isn't it?

Nah, just Cub fans trying to put a positive spin on it, it's part of denial.

Busty will resign before the end of this year.

Are you crazy, dude? Dusty would never quit, dude. He's doing his best to win, dude!

It may be just that time to get our Cubs injury translator out.

Let's look at the possble outcomes:

Bruised Elbow, may miss a start = Tommy John Surgery, out a year and a half

Muscle Tighness, may miss a start = Torn Rotator Cuff, Career in doubt

Inflamation, will miss 2 or 3 starts = Reconstructive sugery, out for the year

Broken arm, out 2-3 months = Death

LMAO, good stuff.

I thought this thread was about a player's injury, not play-by-play...?

Whatever you guys do, don't tell Cub fans that we actually have a 14 page thread on this.

I think they are more worried about the healthy of their best pitcher than worried about what Sox fans are saying.
