Very nice game. It's one of those ones where you pretty much feel good from beginning to end (minus that first inning). And a Golden Sombrero for Wilson. I'm sure glad we're not trading for that guy.

Control wise...

Shingo is learning the importance of fastball location this year. Noone really knew what to expect from him last year except a whole bunch of junk. Now that the book is out on him, he is having to figure out how to use his fastball to set up his junk. It is almost hurting his offspeed pitches though, because he isnt throwing them as much, and he isnt having the good location because of it. I think he is starting to get it though. He needs a couple more outings like the one he had tonite, sans the leadoff walk.
