White Sox vs. Rockies 6/6 game thread

It's not a big deal to me, but is there any reason why Garcia isn't running out any of his groundballs today?

What happened to Pods and his patient approach? He's walked twice in his last 18 games.

Don't chance anything after leaving with a sore hammy?

Also, with the added difficulty when you breathe I wouldn't bother.

I am just guessing its due to not wanting to hurt that hammy again

What happened to Crede and trying to keep his swing plane level and his shoulder closed?

If its anything other than his Hammy, then its s***. Its not that hard to run something out.

Another 1-2-3 inning after a deep flyout to center.

Crede's been much better recently. Just like with Cotts, I'm not sure why people still complain about players even though they're performing well at the time. Uribe's offense is hurting us a hell of a lot more than Crede's performance right now.

Heck...even if he's feeling fine, the last thing we want is a hurt starter. Or hell, even if he's saving his legs to keep himself fresher on the mound, i'm fine with it. It's not like these guys are exactly accustomed to the air up there.

Haha, I swear it took Pauly 3 minutes to get home there.

4-3 sox...somehow Konerko scores from 2nd on a single.

juan uribe My |n****!

a.j my n****!

And A.J. drives in 2...3 runs scored with 2 outs this inning

I LUUUUUUUUUUUV 2 OUT DAMAGE!!!

6-3 good guys.

Nice job by AJ (though a decently fast hitter gets to third there). Glad to see us getting some runs.

Come on Joe, base hit and bust it open.

Aight, IBB to Joe.

Time for Freddy to bust it open. Or not...

Sox put up a 3 spot. :headbang

No reason at all for them to pitch to Joe.

Come on Freddie...you're due for a hit.

why not? Im a member of the same race. I have the right to say that.

13 in a row retired now by Garcia I believe. He's a monster today.

31 steals for Pods.

jd is really starting to come into his own.

just tuned in, nice to see some crooked numbers on that scoreboard

He's hitting .368 in June.

As bad as he was the first month and a half...the pendulum was bound to swing the other way. I think he'll be hitting .260 or so by the end of June, which is starting to get up to where he should be.

If guys like him get their average up to normal, non-terrible numbers, then this team will be very hard to beat. Ever.
