Whew, that was a lot! Nice to get a sweep! Look at the box score...the only 0's in the hit column for the Sox belong to Shingo, Vizcaino, and Marte. LOL! :lolhitting

Cliff Politte is the f***in' MAN! :cheers :notworthy

Nuke, how about the t-ball stand in here? I miss seeing that all the time....

Without Felix Diaz around I really havent had much chance to use it this season. ( really good thing! )

However. This one's just for you.

Yeah, I was just commenting...

Don't mind me.

It was worth getting little sleep to stay up and watch the offense go ballistic. Lets keep the momentum going into SD. Only worry is that Marte has pain in his bicep. Maybe he needs a few days off anyway since he hasn't been too stellar as of late. :gosox1:

i hope the damn padres dont wear those camoflage uniforms. i hate those for some reason. but we need to watch out, the pads are good, they are going to win the nl west, odds are.

The Pads are currently in a slump. They hadnt scored in 30 innings at their own park until they finally put 1 up on the Indians last night. I think the pitching rotation and momentum heavily favor the Sox this weekend.

Key stat of the series... The Sox pitching only allowed 9 runs in Denver, over a 3 game series.

we thought this series was gonna be about the longball.

it wasn't.

we thought the sox would run all over the rockie's catchers.

they didn't.

Pitching prevailed once again.

I  this team

san diego is gonna be tough, seeing that this park was built for righties, we shouldnt load our lineup with too many left handed hitters

Politte's hit game me a boner.....fake bunt with the infield charging and a slap hit past the 1B into RF for an RBI..... :headbang

Apparently Polite was watching the womens college softball championship in the clubhouse and mentioned how the slap hit was a lost art.

Sox hit a coll  .511 tonight.

Not to shaby! :D

That's because with 3 doubleplays and 2 caught stealings thats 8 total outs that only show up as 2 in the batting averages.
