near sellout for tonight's game?

Featured Replies

I just tried to buy 1 ticket, best available on whitesox.com and they came up with box 524.

Wow.

Its getting ridiculous with this demand for tickets!

:P

Looking for 1 ticket:

BOX533 ROW14

Looking for 2 tickets:

BOX528 ROW17

Looking for 3 tickets:

BOX528 ROW19

Looking for 4 tickets:

BOX528 ROW20

This is hardly a sellout. Try 25-30,000 tonight.

Walk up to the game and about a hour before you'll be able to get premium lower box if you're willing to pay.

They usually release some of those tickets just a few hours before the game.

Yeah, I know, but how many? Couple thou?

Looks the same for tomorrow nights game also. Should be a pretty good crowd all weekend.

You can probably get 2, just get there about a hour and a half beforehand.

I went to the stadium box office yesterday a.m.

Can you beleive I actually had to wait in line.. and all they had in the bottom level were obstructed view bleacher seats..

SO of course I had to get them..

I tihnk the weekend series and afternoon games will start to sell out..

Its about time us Sox fans went to more games and support our T-E-A-M..

GO SOX!!

I doubt any games this weekend will sell out. Should be about 30,000 or more for each game.

The Saturday night game vs Boston in 2 weeks is almost sold out. You can't get 2 seats together anywhere in the park, only singles. I think that'll be our 6th sellout of the year.

:gosox1:

Im going tomorrow and i will be sitting in Section 509 row 9, it could be worse.

What bleacher seats have obstructed views?

I read a note in either Thurs or Wed Sun-Times that said the Sox have sold 1.85 million tickets up to this point, including the ones presold for future games

I think he meant to put an "or" in there... or perhaps they consider the ones right next to the cf wall obstructed since you can't see a play in rf from some of those seats.

Just means the foul pole. You're fine.

That's exactly right. The fan deck blocks off RF with the ones closer to CF

I believe next to the CF structure in the bleachers is obstructed view, you are next to a wall basically, I could be wrong.

Speaking of sold out games, the Saturday night game against Boston in a few weeks is almost sold out, as someone said earlier. I was wondering if there is any way to buy standing room only tickets online, because I was planning on going, but we can't find four seats together. Does anybody know the policy on standing room only tickets?

All I know is that I am looking forward to Sundays game. Its just me and my 1 year old son at our first Father-son only game. Mom is working and the boys are out at the park.

We never draw well for a friday night. My guess is Traffic, and everyone go out to eat or drink

33,600+ was the official number.

I figure if the weather is nice tomorow night and because of fireworks they will probably sell out.

I'd call that drawing well. 100K for the weekend is a solid possibility.
